BABCP Accredited Psychotherapist
I am a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and a BACP Accredited Counsellor. I have been working as a therapist since 2003 using a holistic, positive and hopeful approach to help individuals find solutions to their problems and cope with a range of difficulties.
I specialise in therapy for anxiety-based problems such as worry, panic attacks, stress, social anxiety, body image, OCD, phobias, trauma, and health anxiety. I also have specialist knowledge and experience of supporting lesbian, gay, and bisexual (LGB+) people, having worked in the field of sexuality for over two decades.
Having therapy can offer you many potential benefits. Some of these include: learning new skills and coping strategies for managing anxiety, improving your confidence and self-esteem, resolving difficulties in your relationships, overcoming fear, and having a place to discuss what you may not be able to share elsewhere.
If you are a couple experiencing relationship distress, I may be able to help you using an approach called Behavioural Couples Therapy. This is a type of therapy which aims to relieve stress, improve communication between you and your partner, solve relationship problems, and bring you closer together.
