About me

I’m Isabella and I’m a therapist specialising in psychodymanic therapy. What this means is that in our weekly 50 minute sessions, we talk about whatever is on your mind – how you’re feeling, what you’re thinking- and we explore those together and build up a picture of who you are. This sort of therapy is based on the idea that you might not be fully aware of some of your patterns in behaviour, ways of thinking, and your emotional responses. The reason I continue to work as a therapist is because I’ve seen so many times the power of knowing yourself better, how with the help of a qualified therapist you can gain a greater understanding of who you are and bring about the change you want to see in your life. It might be that you’ve been experiencing distressing mental states or maybe you simply have a sense that something isn’t quite right and that something needs to change.

I am a qualified and experienced therapist, and am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, but the most important thing about finding a therapist is finding someone who fits with you, who you feel you could come to trust . If that sounds like something you’re interested in exploring please send me an email and we can set up an initial consultation. I look forward to meeting you.
