About me
In periods of doubt and stress, we can feel intensely lonely. We can lose our way. Sometimes we can find it hard to believe anything could be different.
As an integrative practitioner, my work is grounded in psychodynamic, humanistic, body and arts based psychotherapy. I offer a safe, connected space in which we can think creatively - find our hope - for something different, something new, something more.
In this space we deliberately slow down, so we can notice you. There will be the opportunity to bring yourself just as you are, and you will be heard, you will be seen, you will be accepted for who you are. This can be deeply healing and validating.
We enter into a conversation, we will talk about your present day life, but we may also look at how past experiences have shaped how you are today. We will look to understand your distress, however that manifests, in problems in relationships, stress at work, addictions, feelings of not belonging, to name but a few.
I specialise in helping you realign your thoughts, feelings (sometimes lack of) and ways of behaving so they feel more concordant. Central to my work is the offering to find a tenderness towards yourself and your experiences. In this self acceptance a re-balancing happens which offers the possibility for change, growth, and healing.
We start walking with 'our own grain', and find a peace in ourselves. We can step into feeling our own vitality and spontaneity much more readily. We can open up new ways of relating to others. We can access the possibility of more spontaneous and creative ways of responding to life's complex, ever shifting demands.
I practice in Pimlico on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and look forward to hearing from you if any of what you have read resonates with you. Let's start a conversation about how it would feel to work together.
