TuesdayAbout me
I have been working as a psychotherapist for over five years. Working in private practice I have developed an efficient method of supporting clients struggling with depression, relationship and life crises. My mental health experience allows me also to take referrals from clients experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems.
In addition to my practice, I teach psychotherapy and counselling at Gestalt Centre London (London Metropolitan University). I am a visiting tutor at Re-Vision – Centre for Integrative Psychosynthesis, and Gestalt institutes in Bulgaria, Georgia and Poland. Prior to setting up my private practice, I managed a mental health scheme in Hackney.
I further my knowledge and experience by regularly attending conferences, trainings and workshops in the UK and internationaly.
Working as a psychotherapist I keep a good balance between challenging and supporting clients. I focus on embodiment, relational therapy and diversity. In practice, this means that we will also focus on our relationship in the therapeutic room as a vehicle for change and insights about your life. I pay attention not only to individual psychological problems but also to the wider socio-political context including gender, sexual indentity, race and ecology as all these aspects have a significant impact on our wellbeing. Finally, I focus on how our embodiment can inform and guide us through the complexity every relationship including therapeutic relationship can offer.
