Creating a confidential space where you can feel safe and comfortable in opening up and exploring your thoughts and feelings is the key to effective therapy; something which we can work towards achieving together. Having worked in a number of NHS, university and public sector settings I have extensive experience of working with individuals and couples across all walks of life presenting with a range of different issues.
I am trained in a number of different therapeutic models which enables me to be responsive to your needs. I don’t believe that one size fits all, and I strongly recommend an initial assessment for us to discuss what type of therapy would suit you.
Working together we will explore your issue and gain an understanding of how it developed and came about. Once you have a greater personal understanding you are in a better position to make informed decisions and bring about effective changes in your life which can alleviate distress.
Some of the issues I specialise in, include:
• Women’s health, including fertility and pregnancy
• Life changes
• Relational and family difficulties
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Bereavement
• Low self-esteem and confidence issues
• Sexual health
• Trauma and abuse
• Stress
• Eating disorders
• Academic stresses
• Questions regarding your identity
Please note this list is not exhaustive, so please do contact me if you would like to discuss your specific needs. I am also happy to arrange an initial phone call or meeting to discuss your issues and answer any questions you may have.
