About me

Hello, I am Silvi and I am a fully qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist. I offer weekly open-ended and time-limited therapy to individuals from my practice here in Pimlico. I also have some limited online appointments available to those who cannot access therapy in person.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and encourages you to bring freely to each session what feels most important at the time. We will look at gaining an understanding of repetitive patterns and your relationships by bringing some awareness to what may be unconscious. Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a deeper form of therapy which works with past and present experiences helping you make better sense of their connection. We will aim to explore your early and present attachments to people and ways of coping with life by promoting insight and greater self-awareness. Therapy can be a profound life-changing experience and one which is available to people at any stage of life. Whether you are approaching it now due to a recent event or because of something you have lived with for some time, we can explore things together.

I work in a trauma-informed way and my practice also welcomes people with diverse identities and backgrounds like the LGBTQ+ community and people with different racial, class and cultural experiences.
