Our practice has been assessed for the risk of COVID-19. We can offer at least 2 meters distance between armchairs, frequent cleaning and a system of scheduling to make sure you will not meet anyone else than you therapist when coming for your appointment.
Pimlico Counsellors and Psychotherapists opened seven years ago. The counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists that work at the practice offer a range of services and work individually with couples, families and children, both face to face and online.
Our counsellors have trained in various therapeutic modalities and with time, have developed unique styles. The way we work is relational, meaning that we also focus on the authentic relationship between the counsellor and the client. Attending to the nature and quality of the relationship with your therapist may help you to gain further insights about other relationships in your life. All of our counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists receive regular supervision, are committed to their on-going professional development, and are registered with leading professional bodies.
Our therapy rooms are homely and professional. We have silent and soundproofed rooms to create safe and beautiful environment for the challenges that this work may offer. There is an almost private back garden where you can wait for your appointment or relax afterwards if the weather permits. Pimlico Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is a very short walk from Pimlico station, a 10 minute walk from Vauxhall and 15-20 minutes from Victoria Station. In case you get lost on Bessborough Place, we are in front of the school – please look for our logo next to the red door.
If you would like to book an appointment with our therapists then please check their individual profiles and call them directly. It is likely they will not be able to pick up their phones, so please leave them a message and be assured they will call you back as soon as they can.
After the lockdown, we offer both face to face and online therapy. All of our therapists offer individual counselling, however, if your problem is specific to the relationship you are in, then couple therapy could be the right solution. If you are having problems with your child, then you may consider seeing a child psychologist or starting a course of family therapy. Often it is better to involve the whole family as this allows parents to learn how to relate to their children more effectively. Skype therapy is a convenient way to see a therapist, but we do not recommend it if you can come to see our counsellors face to face. Finally, transcendental meditation training takes place once to twice a month and includes a weekend in which participants have both group and individual activities that allow them to get in touch with themselves through meditation.
